“My sister and I stayed at Hotel Vista de Olas during a recent visit to Mal Pais and enjoyed it immensely. The private bungalows, open-air restaurant, and infinity pool with an incredible view of the ocean make Vista de Olas a beautiful and inviting place to stay. It’s also a one-stop shop for everything you might want to do in the area. We took an ATV tour to a nearby waterfall, went zip lining, rode horses on the beach, and took surfing lessons.We’d love to visit again and would definitely recommend having the Vista de Olas team curate your Costa Rican adventure!”

“The family and staff at Vista de Olas made our honeymoon the best trip imaginable. We were treated like family on Day 1. Roger, the founder/owner, was incredibly helpful in giving us the initial run-down of things to do in Mal País. He and his family make whatever you want happen (tours, massages, etc.). They know all of the vendors and restaurants in the area, so there was no lack of great information and helpful advice.
Heidi, Roger’s wife, was super friendly and makes THE BEST cocktails! Their two sons were incredibly kind and knowledgeable (they typically act as Vista de Olas’ tour guides for their offered tours). They led us on an ATV tour to the Montezuma Falls and took us out snorkeling and fishing. Both tours were AWESOME…”
